Please don,t tell me why it would be bad, I already know because of taxes and because everyone will still do it. I just really need to know the good of it. I know there woudl be alot less deaths, and cancer victums...but thats about it
thanksless deaths
less rehab centers
more drug addicts in jail
hmm... idk
so wat about sun?Being sold on the black market tax free would probably lower tobacco prices.public health will most likely increase life span and medical costs will drop putting less strain on the insurance companies or the public welfare systemAnything that brings in the money that tobacco brings in won't be outlawed and if it does the jails will overflow immediately not to mention the huge black market that will pop up overnight. Illegalizing tobacco would be about as stupid, if not dumber than the so called war on drugs.
Though a lot of people seem to think second hand smoke is worse than direct smoking, one of the worse jokes and frauds ever perpetrated, it is not worse and tobacco will remain legal for quite some time to come.
For those who think 2nd hand smoke is worse then please tell me why, even though my parents were both heavy smokers I could still run 10 miles non stop until I started smoking then i could barely make a mile..If it was illegal, tobacco use would decline (but not down to zero). This would cause a decrease in the death rate (depending on how much it would decline) and also health care costs. This will drop insurance rates and hospital and doctor fees. The tobacco companies kill 438,000 of their best customers every year, from American Lung Association stats, and cost 92 billion.
It would save on city cleanup costs (I've notice that a substantial percentage of litter is actually cigarette butts.)
Things would smell a lot nicer.Alot less deaths, and cancer victims. Not good enough for you? Okay, alot less money wasted trying to save cancer victims. Oh, fewer birth defects too.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
