I'm searching for a 35mm slr, and I came upon phoenix. Their cameras appear to be very simple and in the price range I am looking at. What I want to know is, what do Phoenix owners think about their cameras and what acessories are available for them?I really don't know if it's the same company but there is a manufacturer called Pheonix that makes cheap telescopes and the feedback about these scope is dire. They sell them on ebay for a fraction of the cost of other refractors.
The idea behind the company is that they buy a whole load of lenses and mirrors at really cheap prices simply so that any customer returns can be replaced 1 or 2 times before losing any money. (Hopefully the customer gives up & stops retuning the scope or by some miricle gets a reasonably good one!)
BUT. Like I said at the start, I don't know if it's the same company.Little information available at this time. Specs seem normal. Manufacturer unknown.What a coincidence, I've just been looking at Pheonix lenses on ebay and was wondering the exact same thing, is Pheonix a good make?#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
