How is an anti-fed similar to a modern day republican?

  • Well a strong federal government is the most obvious one. And since the Anti-Federalist days, the Anti-Feds and the old Democrats (now can be compared to the Republicans) were usually more aggressive militarial wise which many see in a lot of Republicans.

    I don't know, I can't really think of much. Everything I remember Henry had to do with is kind of irrelevont to modern issues; hopefully someone else answers that has a lot more insight on the subject than I do.

    The Anti-Feds were based in the South and were against tariff and tax raises of the time, which can also be seen in modern day Republicans with all of the tax cuts.


  • There is only one and that would be Ron Paul. If by Anti-Fed you are referring to the privately held Federal Reserve. There are no others I know of, all the rest are just corporate schills. Best of Luck on your debate.
